Felony arrests

Robbery — Ashley Cataline Alvarado, 26, of Winnetka, California. Medford police arrested Alvarado on Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and assaulting a police officer, and misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft, harassment, second-degree trespassing, interfering with police and resisting arrest. She was held in the Jackson County Jail on Thursday on $35,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Ryan Jay Michael Coble, 23, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Coble on Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor charges of providing false information to police and possessing methamphetamine and on a warrant for violating his probation on a prior contempt of court conviction. He was held in jail Thursday on $22,500 bail.

Assault — Christopher William Hyde, 36, of the 8400 block of Carolina Way, Central Point. Eagle Point police arrested Hyde on Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Robbery — Jennifer Dawn Jones, 46, of the 1000 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Jones on Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree criminal mischief. She was held in jail Thursday on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Timothy France, 42, of the 800 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested France on Thursday on felony charges of possessing cocaine and methamphetamine. He was held in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Elude — Michael Justo Nieves, 35, of South Daytona, Florida. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Nieves on Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on bail.
