Felony arrests

Drugs — Shelly Ann Norwood-Walker, 37, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Norwood-Walker Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing heroin, misdemeanor warrants charging her with driving while suspended or revoked and on a warrant for failing to report to jail on a prior hit-and-run property damage conviction. She was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Alejandro Isaias Avaloz-Meza, 29, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Avaloz-Meza Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, on misdemeanor charges of unlawfully possessing a concealed firearm, tampering with evidence, driving while suspended or revoked and for violating his parole on a prior coercion conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Tyler James Duarte, 28, of the 600 block of Gilman Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Duarte Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin and possessing meth. He was held in jail Friday on $65,000 bail.

Weapon Use — Matthew Scott Horton, 25, of the 800 block of Mindy Sue, Medford. Medford police arrested Horton Friday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated harassment, and on a misdemeanor charge of menacing constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.
