Felony arrests

DUI — Jesus Casas-Arteaga, 69, of the 2700 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Arteaga on Sunday on charges of driving under the influence with a prior DUI conviction and driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked into jail and held on $12,500 bail.

Burglary — Daniel Steven King, 24, of the 2200 block of Sunburst Court, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested King on Sunday on charges of burglary in the first degree, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft in the third degree. He was booked into jail and held on $32,500 bail.

Assault — Joseph Emanuel Ledbetter, 24, of the 500 block of North Fifth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Ledbetter on Saturday on charges of criminal mischief, hit and run with property damage, theft in the third degree and attempted assault in the second degree. He was booked into jail and held on $35,500 bail.

Coercion — Jeremy Scott Caswell Perry, 31, of the 2200 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Perry on Sunday on charges of interfering with a peace officer, harassment and coercion. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Public indecency — Dakota Troy Valentino, 28, of the 300 block of West Pine Garden, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Valentino on Saturday on charges of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, theft in the third degree, attempted entry into a motor vehicle and public indecency. He was booked into jail and held on $15,000 bail.

Assault — John Charles Weber Jr., 38, of the 160 block of B Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Weber on Sunday on charges of interfering with making a report, assault in the fourth degree, criminal mischief and harassment. He was booked into jail and released on bail Sunday.
