Felony arrests

Assault — Marty Dupree Hilliard, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Hilliard Thursday on felony warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing cocaine, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and attempting to assault a police officer, and misdemeanor warrants charging him with stalking, driving while suspended or revoked, harassment, telephonic harassment, interfering with police, failing to carry or present a drivers license to an officer and contempt of court. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $111,000 bail.

Rape — Jesus Martinez Olivares, 50, of the 1500 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Martinez Olivares Thursday on felony charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Thursday on $1.75 million bail.

Rape — Adam Matthew Schiller, 45, of the 200 block of Avery Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Schiller Thursday on felony charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Thursday on more than $1.47 million bail.

Drugs — Darryl Lamar Thompson, 24, of the 7500 block of Gladstone Avenue, White City. Medford police arrested Thompson Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering heroin, a misdemeanor charge of possessing heroin and misdemeanor warrants charging him with providing false information to a police officer and failing to appear in court on a previous charge of providing false information to police. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday because of reduced capacity due to COVID-19 protocols at the jail.

Drugs — Talun Ting, 48, of Seattle, Washington. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Ting Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing cocaine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
