Theft — Jonathan David Arista, 24, of the 1000 block of East Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Arista Thursday on a felony charge of first degree theft by possessing stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying or concealing a firearm. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.
Robbery —Talal Paul Telweh, 42, of Tracy, California. Medford police arrested Telweh Thursday on a felon charge of second-degree robbery, and was charged Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court with two additional felony counts of aggravated first-degree theft. He was held in jail Friday on $500,000 bail.
Drugs — Luis Raymond Villa, 39, of the 6900 block of Pio Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Villa Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday after posting bond.
Attempted Murder — Cera Freier, 24, no known address. On Friday, Freier made her initial court appearance on felony charges of attempted second-degree murder, attempted first-degree assault, second-degree kidnapping and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Medford police originally arrested Freier Thursday on warrants for failing to appear in court on four previous counts of identity theft and for violating her parole on a prior second-degree burglary conviction. She was held in jail Friday without bail.
Drugs — Jeremy Shawn Snyder, 39, of the 500 block of Fir Avenue, Butte Falls. On Friday, Snyder made a court appearance on felony warrants charging him with delivering and possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with meth possession. He was held in jail Friday on $15,000 bail.
