Drugs — Allen Dale Mitchell, 57, of the 2600 block of Tennessee Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Mitchell Wednesday on a felony charge of unlawfully possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and on a detainer for violating his parole on a prior third-degree robbery conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Shane Michael Cardoza, 50, of the 3400 block of Hanley Road, Central Point. On Thursday, Cardoza made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on new felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and on a new misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Cardoza Feb. 16 on felony charges of delivering heroin, unlawfully possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of unlawfully possessing a marijuana item. He was held in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.
Destructive Device — Brian Matthew Lighthill, 22, of the 1100 block of Char Way, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Lighthill Thursday on felony charges that included 23 counts of unlawfully manufacturing a destructive device and nine counts of unlawfully possessing a destructive device. He was held in jail Thursday on $240,000 bail.
Drugs — Brandon Michael Robinson, 39, of the 900 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Robinson Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, felon in possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.
