Felony arrests

Coercion ― Richard Kemo John Hall, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Hall Wednesday on a felony charge of coercion, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and harassment, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree trespassing charge. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.

Strangulation ― Clifton Jacob Landry, 33, no known address. Ashland police arrested Landry Wednesday on felony charges of strangulation and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, and for violating his probation on prior fourth-degree assault and methamphetamine possession convictions. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Assault ― Anthony Michael Tacchini, 50, of the 5800 block of Shady Brook Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tacchini Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. He was held in jail Thursday on $115,000 bail.

Theft ― Cheyenne Eskew, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Eskew Thursday on felony charges of first-degree theft, theft by receiving and felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, Josephine County warrants and on a California fugitive warrant. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary ― Douglas Arthur Hackett, 35, of the 3600 block of Avenue G, White City. Medford police arrested Hackett Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of attempted first-degree theft, attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, second-degree trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree trespassing. He was held in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.

Elude ― Jeffery Lynn Kenton, 59, of the 500 block of West First Street, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenton Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor warrants on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, attempting to elude police on foot, failing to appear in court on previous charges of driving while suspended or revoked and third-degree theft and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree arson conviction. He was booked in the jail Thursday.

Burglary ― Hunter Talon Marlow, 24, of the 900 block of Shafer Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Marlow Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on a detainer for violating his parole on a prior first-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Theft ― Justin Edward Maughs, 25, of Yreka, California. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Maughs Thursday on felony charges of first-degree theft, theft by receiving and felon in possession of a firearm, and misdemeanor charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Witness Tampering ― Tafarie Joorie Richards, 29, no known address. Central Point police arrested Richards Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with tampering with a witness and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Assault ― John Lee Truly Jr., 57, of the 900 block of Royal Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Truly Thursday on felony charges of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, strangulation and coercion, and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in jail Thursday on $25,000 bail.
