Vehicle Theft ― Joseph Cruz Leyva III, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Leyva Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor warrant charging him with second-degree theft and for violating his parole on a prior conviction for delivering a Schedule III controlled substance to a minor. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.
Witness Tampering ― Joshua Jason Pinney, 31, of Springfield. Ashland police arrested Pinney Wednesday on an added felony charge of tampering with a witness and on a misdemeanor contempt of court charge for violating a release agreement surrounding an arrest earlier this week on felony criminal mistreatment, identity theft and forgery charges. He was booked in the jail Wednesday.
Criminal Mischief ― Byron Hays Rogers, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Rogers Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.
Criminal Mischief ― John Charles Weber Jr., 38, of the 100 block of B Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Weber Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, violating a no-contact order, interfering with someone making a police report, driving while suspended or revoked, and failing to appear in court on previous charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended or revoked, reckless driving, harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and unlawfully delivering and possessing a marijuana item. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday after posting bond.
