Contraband — Cody Bernard Markell, 30, of the 500 block of West Main Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Markell Thursday on felony warrants charging him with supplying contraband and possessing heroin, a misdemeanor warrant charging him with possessing a Schedule III controlled substance and for violating his parole on a prior heroin delivery conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.
Drugs — Jeremiah Glen Meeds, 23, of the 200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Meeds Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft, second-degree trespassing and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and violating his parole on a prior impaired driving conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.
Strangulation — Benjamin David Whitten, 20, of the 2400 block of Bell Court, medford. Medford police arrested Whitten Thursday on a felony charge of strangulation constituting domestic violence, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was held in jail Thursday on $17,500 bail.
