Sodomy – Matthew Michael Gomez, 32, of the 1700 block of Inverness Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Gomez Thursday on felony charges of first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and attempted first-degree sodomy. He was held in the Jackson Count Jail Friday on $500,000 bail.
Drugs – Christopher Boyd Stevenson, 39, of the 900 block of North Fifth Street, Jacksonville. Central Point police arrested Stevenson Thursday on a felony charge of unlawfully possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of strangulation constituting domestic violence, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday.
Drugs – Dante Lamont O’Dell, 19, of the 2700 block of Heritage Road, Central Point. Jackson County Community Justice parole and probation officers arrested O’Dell Friday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on a sanction for violating his parole on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He was held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.
