Drugs — John Dylan Ryan, 37, no known address. On Friday, Ryan made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. Ashland police originally arrested Ryan Thursday on misdemeanor contempt of court charges accusing him of violating a restraining order. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $22,500 bail.
Drugs — Henry Maldonado, 37, no known address. On Friday, Maldonado made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on new felony charges of unlawfully possessing heroin and possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine. Medford police originally arrested Maldonado Thursday for violating his parole on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
Identity Theft — Joseph Wesley Mazzini, 28, of the 23100 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. On Friday, Mazzini made his initial court appearance on felony charges of identity theft and first-degree theft, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies also arrested Mazzini on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and first-degree trespassing. Medford police originally arrested Mazzini Friday on misdemeanor charges of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and on a felony fugitive warrant out of New Mexico. He was held in jail Friday without bail
Drugs — Brian Matthew Smith, 27, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies and Medford police arrested Smith Friday on a felony warrant charging him with unlawfully possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, and two misdemeanor warrants for driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.
