Felony arrests

Assault — Steven Troy Jeffries Jr., 23, of the 7700 block of Bellaire Way, White City. Eagle Point police arrested Jeffries Tuesday on a felony charge of second-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of menacing. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $105,000 bail.

Drugs — Alejandro Villa, 42, of the 1800 block of Inner Circle, Medford. Medford police arrested Villa Tuesday on a felony charge of delivering methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of unlawfully possessing heroin, third-degree theft, a contempt of court charge and for violating his probation on a prior fourth-degree assault conviction. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Elude — Chad Lee Holzhauser, 48, of the first block of Rolling Hills, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Holzhauser Wednesday on a felony charge of attempt to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, attempt to elude police by foot and on a warrant for violating his probation on a prior fourth-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Assault — Jacob Scott Thompson, 37, of the 400 block of Left Fork Humbug Creek Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thompson Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.
