SOHS plans Thursday events at Hanley Farm in June
The Southern Oregon Historical Society will host weekly events Thursdays at historic Hanley Farm, starting June 3.
Events, which are free and open to the public, will run from 4 to 8 p.m.
Mail Tribune garden columnist and podcaster Rhonda Nowak will lead Shakespeare Garden Tours June 3. A plant sale will also be offered.
On June 10, there will be a fashion show highlighting historical clothing and a history lesson on Alice Hanley, one of the previous residents of the farm.
June 17 will feature the Family Heritage Fair, which will include butter-making, sack races, roping, and information on historic farm life.
The June 24 event will feature Randall Theater Company historical readings.
Additional weekly events are planned for July and August.
