Felony arrests

Assault — Omar Escobedo, 21, of the 3400 block of Avenue E, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Escobedo Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $12,500 bail.

Criminal Mischief — Angela Suzanne Biddle, 52, no known address. Ashland police arrested Biddle Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor charges of failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree theft, interfering with police and second-degree disorderly conduct. She was held in jail Thursday on $23,000 bail.

Drugs — Padyn Daniel Dineen, 31, of the 1100 block of Comet Avenue, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Dineen Thursday on felony warrants charging him with attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing more than an ounce of methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving and hit-and-run property damage. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Dineen Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with manufacturing, delivering and possessing a marijuana item, delivering and possessing heroin, aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft, second-degree burglary, misdemeanor warrants charging him with second-degree trespassing and contempt of court for violating a restraining order, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in jail Thursday on $525,000 bail.

Weapons — Clifton Eugene Patterson, 36, of the 1100 block of Loal Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Patterson Thursday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday after posting bond.

Sodomy — Jaray Bougcaire Thomas, 20, of the 2400 block of Stonebrook Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Thomas Thursday on two new felony charges of first-degree sodomy and on a warrant out of Linn County. Central Point police originally arrested Thomas Oct. 8 on felony charges of first- and second-degree rape and on a misdemeanor count of furnishing liquor to a minor or intoxicated person. He was held in jail Thursday on $1.1 million bail.

Attempted Murder — Dennis Logan Wilson, 36, of Eugene. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Wilson Thursday on six new felony counts of attempted first-degree murder. Medford police originally arrested Wilson Oct. 11, 2018 on felony charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, and he was later charged in 2019 with first- and third-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and child pornography charges. He was held in jail Thursday on $1.85 million bail.
