Weapons — John Anthony Duval Jr., 42, of the 3100 block of Forest Hills Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Duval Monday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm and on a misdemeanor charge of pointing a firearm at another person. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.
Aggravated Theft — Randell Lee Thomas, 60, of the 400 block of Loper Lane, Trail. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Monday on felony warrants charging him with aggravated first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was held in jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail.
Child Neglect — Marquis Devon Akins, 33, of the 2800 block of Springhills Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Akins Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree child neglect and manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering heroin and fourth-degree assault. He was held in jail Tuesday on $80,000 bail.
Drugs — Craig Sterling Knight, 40, of the 900 block of Fairfield Circle, Central Point. On Tuesday, Knight made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine and new misdemeanor charges of possessing heroin and driving while suspended or revoked. Medford police originally arrested Knight in April for violating his parole on a prior aggravated identity theft conviction and for failing to appear in court on prior charges of delivering and possessing oxycodone and delivering meth. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.
Drugs — John P. Youngbar, 45, of the 200 block of Blossom Drive, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Youngbar Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with delivering and possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, possessing heroin, delivering and possessing a marijuana item, and a misdemeanor charge of possessing Schedule IV controlled substance. He was booked in the jail Tuesday.
