Felony arrests

Assault — Juan Luis Garcia-Vazquez, 21, of the 4300 block of Merita Terrace, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Garcia-Vazquez Thursday on a felony charge of third-degree assault. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Assault — Manuel Garcia-Vazquez, 25, of the 4300 block of Merita Terrace, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Garcia-Vazquez Thursday on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — James Ernest Richardson, 46, of the first block of Dunlap Road, Jacksonville. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Richardson Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor warrants charging him with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Aggravated Theft — Ricky Farrell Kenneth Gibbons, 33, of Myrtle Creek. Medford police arrested Gibbons Friday on a felony charges including a count of aggravated first-degree theft, eight counts of first-degree theft and two counts of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday.

Weapons — Robert Joseph Houle, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Houle Friday on three felony counts of felon in possession of a firearm. He was held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.
