Felony arrests

Aggravated Identity Theft — Damion Andres Salazar, 20, of the 700 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Salazar Monday on two felony charges of aggravated identity theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday after posting bond.

Weapon Use — Steven Roger Ward Jr., 30, of the 900 block of North Rose Street, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Ward Monday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon, coercion, strangulation constituting domestic violence and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and menacing. He was held in jail Tuesday on $50,000 bail.

Burglary — Michael Eric Bertrand, 41, of the 100 block of West Wagner Street, Talent. Talent police arrested Bertrand Tuesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. He was held in jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail.

Bias Crime — Caleb Nathaniel Pierce, 23, of Fort Jones, California. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Pierce Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree bias crime and third-degree assault, and misdemeanor warrants charging him with second-degree bias crime, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday after posting bond.

Arson — Stephen Juan Recio, 56, of the 1800 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Recio Tuesday on two felony charges of first-degree arson. He was held in jail Tuesday on $500,000 bail.
