Strangulation — William Carroll Alsup II, 66, of the 300 block of North Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Alsup Wednesday on a felony charge of strangulation constituting domestic violence and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, menacing and interfering with someone making a police report. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
Impaired Driving — Suzanne Lea Grayson, 66, no known address. Central Point police arrested Grayson Thursday on two felony warrants charging her with driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor warrants on charges of reckless driving and driving while suspended or revoked. She was held in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.
Sexual Abuse — Ryan Anthony Harding, 19, of the 2600 block of Seneca Avenue, Medford. Central Point police arrested Harding Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree sexual abuse. He was booked in the jail Thursday.
Sex Offender Registration — Joshua Michael Kirkman, 25, of the first block of Brophy Way, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kirkman Thursday on a felony warrant for failing to report as a sex offender. Jackson County Community Justice parole and probation officers additionally arrested Kirkman for violating his parole on a prior second-degree sexual abuse conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.
Drugs — Jonathan Raymond Pool, 42, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Pool Thursday on felony warrants charging him with manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, delivering and possessing cocaine and felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail Thursday.
Vehicle Theft — Stanley Patrick Rucker, 47, of the 100 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Rucker Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.
