Felony arrests

Strangulation — Mark Gabriel Aguirre, 38, of the 2500 block of Hawaiian Avenue, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Aguirre Sunday on charges of assault, strangulation, theft in the second degree, harassment and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was booked into jail and held on $47,500 bail.

Eluding — Bersahin Alvarado, 27, of the 3900 block of Lisk Drive, White City. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Alvarado Saturday on charges of attempting to elude police by vehicle and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Sunday.

Identity theft — Brian Neilson Copple, 44, of the 1500 block of Pearl Eye Lane, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Copple Saturday on charges of identity theft, giving false information to a peace officer and theft in the second degree. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Sunday.

Eluding — Armando Hernandez, 60, of San Francisco, Calif. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Hernandez Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, attempting to elude police by vehicle, resisting arrest and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and held on $22,500 bail.

Eluding — Jeremy Hetrick, 33, of the 800 block of Cherry Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Hetrick Sunday on charges of criminal mischief, attempting to elude police by vehicle, driving under the influence of controlled substances and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and held on $27,500 bail.

Hit and run — Lucas Alan Prescott Patterson, 18, of the 2400 block of Pioneer Road, Talent. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patterson Saturday on charges of reckless driving and hit and run on a vehicle with injury. He was booked into jail and released on bail Sunday.

Drugs — Larry Robert Wiltrout, 40, of the 600 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Wiltrout Saturday on charges of possessing, manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Sunday.
