Felony arrests

Assault — Thomas Christopher Garden, 20, of the 1900 block of Thomas Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Garden Friday on felony charges of third-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person and unlawfully carrying or concealing a firearm. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Andrew Jordan Gilman, 31, of the 800 block of Diamond Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gilman Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a prohibited firearm or silencer and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, first- and second-degree theft, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, driving while suspended or revoked and reckless driving. He was held in jail Saturday on $140,000 bail.

Drugs — Angel Mora Jr., of the first block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Mora Friday on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering heroin, manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, first-degree burglary and attempt to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was held in $157,500 bail.

Strangulation — Doua Wang Vang, 33, of the 100 block of Poppy Bay Place, Talent. Ashland police arrested Vang Friday on felony charges of strangulation and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Ryan William Nicholas, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Nicholas Saturday on a felony charge of possessing a stolen motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and on a California felony fugitive warrant. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.
