Felony arrests

Theft ― Mercedes Daniela Hernandez, 20, of the 200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Hernandez Monday on a felony warrant charging her with first-degree theft and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. She additionally made her initial appearance Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on new felony charges second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and on new misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. She was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $70,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft ― Jacob Daniel Johnson, 24, of the 400 block of Merlee Circle, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Johnson Monday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Robbery ― Sara Anne Darby, 46, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Darby Tuesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft, harassment and menacing. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday.

Assault ― Ethan Lee Devey, 21, of the 2000 block of South Pacific Highway, Talent. Talent police arrested Devey Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail.

Criminal Mischief ― Timothy Joseph Frechette Jr., 42, no known address. Central Point police arrested Frechette Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor counts of second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree trespassing and on an Oregon State Parole Board hold. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Theft ― Sean Byron Taylor, 33, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Taylor Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with first-degree theft. He was held in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs ― William Larry Wilson, 56, of the 200 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Wilson Tuesday on a felony charge of unlawfully possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of public indecency and second-degree disorderly conduct and on a detainer for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Assault ― Selena Isabel Zuniga, 23, of the 1200 block of Cherry Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Zuniga Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.
