Man arrested for alleged public indecency, disorderly conduct
A Medford man was arrested Tuesday on charges of public indecency and disorderly conduct after dancing naked and sexually pleasuring himself near the Medford airport.
William Larry Wilson, 56, was arraigned Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony count of public indecency and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
According to police, Williams was in the 3700 block of International Way when he began his alleged display in view of people on the Rogue Valley Expressway “as well as the airport and all planes coming and leaving the airport.”
Wilson had been convicted in October 2019 of misdemeanor public indecency, according to court records. Conviction for a second public indecency offense would be classified as a Class C felony.
The second-degree disorderly conduct count stems from him allegedly obstructing vehicle or pedestrian traffic, according to court documents.
He was also cited for allegedly possessing methamphetamine — less than 2 milligrams. Possession of methamphetamine was a factor in his 2019 public indecency arrest and might affect his probation status, police said.
