Felony arrests

Assault of a police officer — Trey Easton, of the 1400 block of Ruskin Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Easton Tuesday for assault on a peace officer, a Class C felony. Other charges include resisting arrest, interfering with a peace officer, parole or probation officer, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and theft in the third degree — all misdemeanors. He was held in the Jackson County Jail on $22,500 bail.

Parole violation, sexual corruption — Maitland-Anthony Kahikina O Ka La Kamaunu, of the 900 block of North Rose, Phoenix. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kamaunu Tuesday for a parole violation of online sexual corruption of a child in the first degree, coercion, and criminal mischief in the first degree, and assault in the fourth degree pertaining to domestic abuse. There was also a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Warrants — Tyler Bryan Smith, 20, no address reported, Gold Hill. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Smith Wednesday on a felony warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was also wanted for misdemeanor warrants, including criminal trespass in the second degree, criminal mischief in the second degree and theft in the second degree. He was held in Jackson County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Warrants — Jonathan Cayetano Zavala, 33, of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford Police arrested Zavala Wednesday on a felony warrant for burglary in the first degree and on misdemeanor warrants in the second degree for reckless burning, reckless endangerment, criminal trespass interfering with a peace, parole or probation officer.
