Sexual abuse — Lonestar Jesse Handy, 43, of the 300 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday on a Circuit Court warrants for first degree sexual abuse, first degree sexual penetration and attempted first degree sodomy. Handy is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $750,000 bail.
Parole violation — Dustin Brines Tyrer, 40, of the 500 block of Vista Park Drive, Eagle Point. He was arrested Tuesday on a parole violation for first degree sexual abuse. Tyrer is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Second degree assault — Wilbur Eugene Anderson, 71, of the 18000 block of Crater Lake Highway, White City. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for second degree assault, a Class B felony, and for three misdemeanor counts of fourth degree assault, second degree disorderly conduct and harassment Anderson is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $110,000 bail.
Drugs — Andrew Douglas Beebe, 29, of the 500 block of Village Drive, Central Point. He was arrested after appearing in Circuit Court this week for unlawful manufacture of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a counterfeit Schedule I controlled substance as well as misdemeanors for three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful carrying or concealing of a firearm. Beebe is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $30,000 bail.
Strangulation — Jason Todd Champlain, 44, of the 400 block of Stevens Place, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Eagle Point Police Wednesday for strangulation pertaining to domestic abuse as well as two misdemeanors: fourth degree assault pertaining to domestic abuse and harassment. Champlain is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $17,500 bail.
