Police ask for help to identify suspects

Police are treating these thefts from businesses as separate cases

Central Point police are trying to identify two people suspected of stealing from businesses in the city.

Police posted images of both suspects on Facebook hoping someone would recognize a woman in one photo and a man in the other.

The dates and locations of the thefts weren’t included in the posts, and the cases are not being treated by Central Point police as if they are linked.

A photo released Thursday by police show a white woman with long brownish hair and her head tilted downward. She is wearing a layered-look T-shirt, jeans, large sunglasses and no face mask as she exits a business. She has a paper shopping bag hanging on her right arm and is holding something in her left hand.

Anyone who can identify — or provide information that could help police identify — the woman was asked to call police at 541-664-5578 and refer to case number 21-6292.

Central Point police released photos Friday of a man they want to identify. He was white, with dark hair, and was wearing a print gaiter mask, blue T-shirt with a graphic design on the front, and tropical-print shorts and pushing a shopping cart. He has a tattoo on his left calf. A second image provided a back view so the tattoo could be seen.

Anyone who can identify — or provide information that could help police identify — the man was asked to call police at 541-664-5578 and refer to case number 21-6288.
