Felony arrests

Theft — Alexander Vidal Aguirre, 23, of the 200 block of King Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Aguirre Sunday on charges of theft in the first degree, identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and on warrant for failing to appear in court regarding other charges. He was booked into jail and held on $42,500 bail.

Murder — Austin Michael McLeod, 25, of the 800 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested McLeod Sunday on charges of murder in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and unlawful use of a weapon. He was booked into jail and held without bail Sunday.

Murder — Dylan Suede McLeod, 22, of the 800 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested McLeod Sunday on charges of murder in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, abuse of a corpse, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with evidence. He was booked into jail and held without bail Sunday.

Eluding — A Steve Jannaii Pena-Carlton, 27, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pena-Carlton Saturday on charges of reckless driving and attempting to elude police by foot and vehicle. He was booked into jail Saturday and released on his own recognizance Sunday.

Murder — Brycen Dennis Scofield, 20, of the 800 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Scofield Sunday on charges of murder in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and unlawful use of a weapon. He was booked into jail and held without bail Sunday.
