Felony arrests

Criminal mischief — Daniel Jerome Haas, 36, no reported address. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday for first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of unlawful use of a stun gun, tear gas or mace as well as misdemeanor charges of harassment, two counts of fourth-degree assault and two counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Haas is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $30,000 bail.

Probation violation — Gary Adam Jankowski, 43, of the 200 block of Via LInda Circle, Gold Hill. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for a probation violation, unlawful possession of heroin. Jankowski is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Theft — Arianna Marie Moore, 28, no reported address. She was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Monday for first-degree theft after arrest by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies for these misdemeanors: second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of harassment. She was released on her own recognizance

Criminal mistreatment — Jerry Moises Provencio, 44, of the 200 block of Asante Court, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for first-degree criminal mistreatment and third-degree assault. Provencio is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $15,000 bail.

Parole violation — Nikki Jane Smith, 37, of the 2400 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for a parole violation, first-degree burglary. Smith is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Probation violation — Charles Raymond Sutton Jr., 25, of the 300 block of Main Street, Butte Falls. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for probation violations of unlawful possession of heroin and first-degree forgery, failure to appear for first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument as well as misdemeanor probation violation, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and providing false information to a peace officer. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $35,000 bail.

Drugs — James Michael Cody Whelchel, 39, of Orange Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Monday for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and is on a federal hold. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Parole violation — Raymond Lloyd Young, 38, no reported address. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff's deputies Monday for a parole violation, first-degree burglary, as well as a variety of charges, including second-degree theft, two counts of identity theft, two counts of attempting to elude police by vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and multiple failures to appear, both felony and misdemeanor. Young is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
