One person burned in Medford house fire
The Medford Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 300 block of DeBarr Avenue in Medford on Thursday just after 7 p.m.
Occupants of the residence were able to flee the home, but one person received burns and had to be transported by ground ambulance for treatment, said MFD Battalion Chief Kip Gray.
Fire personnel arrived at the fire with three engines and one ladder truck along with two battalion chiefs and an investigator.
The fire was confined to one room upstairs in the two-story house. Cause of the fire is still being determined, Gray added.
