Suspect sought in east Medford bank robbery
Medford police are asking for clues to find a man who robbed a bank Monday in east Medford.
At 5:26 p.m. Monday, a man wearing a green “Starter” pullover passed a note to a teller demanding cash at the First Interstate Bank Commercial Banking Center in the 2600 block of East Barnett Road, according to a Medford police post on social media.
The suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery, and he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect covered his face, wore sunglasses and pulled up his hood, but witnesses described him as a white male whose age is unknown.
Anyone who may have seen a suspect matching his description, or who may have other information about the case is asked to call Medford police dispatchers at 541-770-4783 and reference case No. 21-18469.
