Felony arrests

Arson — John Charles Salmons Sr., 46, of no known address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for first-degree arson and a misdemeanor. Salmons is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $50,000 bail.

Theft — Bria Jill Anderson, 30, of the 3700 block of Southeast Carnes Street, Roseburg. She was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for first-degree theft and multiple misdemeanors. Bail information wasn’t available.

Robbery — Levi Ryder Buday, 25, of the 1500 block of Kenyon Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for second-degree burglary, third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor. Buday was released on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Brayan Chavez Villa, 20, of the 3000 block of Palmyra Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for second-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Chavez Villa was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joshua Jacob Collins, 31, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failure to appear for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine. Collins was released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Chad William Moritz, 40, of the 600 block of Newtown Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for first-degree theft and misdemeanors. Moritz was released on his own recognizance.

Eluding — William Raymond Ophardt, 30, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for attempting to elude police by vehicle and unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine. Ophardt is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $20,000 bail.
