Felony arrests

Strangulation — Juan Jose Beauchamp Jr., 39, no reported address. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for failing to appear on a charge of strangulation pertaining to domestic violence as well as multiple misdemeanors. Beauchamp is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $22,500 bail.

Unauthorized vehicle use — Shane Michael Durham, 32, of the 3300 block of Foots Creek Road, Gold Hill. He was arrested by Rogue River Police Thursday for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Durham was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Cody Ann Jackson, 37, of the 100 block of Colton Lane, Roseburg. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for failing to appear on unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine. Bail information was unavailable.

Driving without valid license — Dennis Alan Knight Jr., 28, of the 400 block of East 12th Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for two counts of driving on a suspended or revoked license. Knight was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Lyandra F. Ponder, 25, of the 500 block of Western Avenue, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, possessing less than one ounce of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of heroin and misdemeanors. Ponder was released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Kathryn Ellen Puckett, 38, of the 200 block of Orr Drive, Central Point. She was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor. Puckett is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $12,500 bail.

Theft -- Cynthia Leanora Short, 55, no reported address. She was arrested by Talent Police Thursday for failure to appear on these charges: four counts of first-degree theft, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful manufacture of heroin, unlawful delivery of heroin and multiple misdemeanors. Short is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $27,500 bail.

Criminal Mischief — Thomas Lee Wall Jr., 32, of the 200 block of South Orange Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for first-degree criminal mischief. Wall is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Unlawful use of a weapon — Steven Roger Ward, Jr., 31, no reported address. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanors. Ward is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $27,500 bail.
