Felony arrests

Theft — Ryan Lee Bice, 35, of the 800 block of Cherry Street, Medford. He was charged by Jackson County Circuit Court Monday for unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle as well as arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies for for failing to appear on these charges: two counts of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine, and misdemeanors. Bice is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $150,000 bail.

Burglary — Joan Lorranine Ferguson, 29, of the 700 block of Nita Lynne, Medford. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Monday for failing to appear on attempting to elude police vehicle and charged in the Jackson County Circuit Court for first-degree burglary as well as misdemeanors. Ferguson is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $85,000 bail.

Drugs — Jose Manuel Jimenez, 32, of the 2400 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failing to appear on these charges: two counts of unlawful possession of heroin, one count each of unlawful delivery and manufacture of heroin, one count each of unlawful possession, delivery and manufacture of methamphetamine, being a felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanors. Bail information was unavailable.

Attempted arson — Thomas William Marr, 64, of the 900 block of North Mountain Avenue, Ashland. He was arrested by Ashland Police Monday for attempted first-degree arson. Marr is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $25,000 bail.

Felony warrant — Michael Dontae Sims, 39, of the 800 block of West Sherman Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Monday for a felony warrant issued in California. Sims is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Coercion — Andrew Scott Surgeon, 36, of the 900 block of Worchester Drive, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Monday for coercion and a misdemeanor. Surgeon was released on his own recognizance.
