Felony arrests

Theft-forgery — Vernon Earl Auten III, 42, of the 7000 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for identity theft, second-degree forgery and a misdemeanor. Auten is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $15,000 bail.

Mail Theft — Rosanna Marie Castaneda, of the 8300 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for 13 counts of mail theft. Castaneda is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $97,500 bail.

Assault — Ricardo Daniel Escobar, 28, of the 600 block of Wilson Road, Central Point. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for fourth-degree assault pertaining to felony domestic abuse. Escobar is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Theft — Joan Lorranine Ferguson, 29, of the 700 block of Nita Lynne, Medford. She was charged by Jackson County Circuit Court with first-degree theft. Ferguson, already being held in the Jackson County Jail for earlier charges, has a total bail of $360,000.

Drugs, robbery — Jesus Antonio Gutierrez, 24, no reported address. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failing to appear for these charges: two counts of unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of prohibited firearms or silencers, second-degree robbery, third-degree robbery and misdemeanors. Gutierrez is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $120,000 bail.

Possessing stolen vehicle — Timothy David Plumee Jr., 40, of the 600 block of Hitching Post Road, Grants Pass. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for possession of a stolen vehicle and an out-of-county traffic violation warrant. Plumlee is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Unauthorized use of vehicle — James Allen Sims, 61, no reported address. He was arrested by Medford Police for failing to appear for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sims was released on his own recognizance.

Robbery — Boris Alexander Deleon, 35, of the 1700 block of Fruitdale Drive, Grants Pass. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for two counts of third-degree robbery and misdemeanors. Bail information is unavailable.

Rape-sexual abuse — Tynan Jeffrey George, 18, of the 1700 block of Camillia Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Monday for three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of second-degree rape. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $250,000 bail.

Felony driving without a license — Alisa Diana Jo Harrington, 33, of the 300 block of Wilson Avenue, Central Point. She was arrested by Central Point Police Monday for felony driving with a suspended or revoked license. Harrington was released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Steven Ray LeCroy, 44, no reported address. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failing to appear for unlawful possession of heroin and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. LeCroy was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Hunter Alan Morin, 30, no reported address. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failing to appear for both unlawful possession of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Bail information was unavailable.

Assault — Eric C Murray, 33, no reported address. He was arrested Tuesday for failing to appear for fourth-degree assault pertaining to domestic abuse and multiple misdemeanors. Bail information was unavailable.

Theft — Chastity Rose Pinedo, 38, of the 700 block of Bennett Avenue, Medford. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for two counts of first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and a misdemeanor. Pinedo was released on her own recognizance.

Assault — Gina Marie Salinas, 63, no reported address. She was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Salinas is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $107,500 bail.

Attempted arson — Jonathan Davis Stowe, 39, no known address. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for attempted first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief.
