Felony arrests

Rape — Jacob Rhandall Barr, 42, of no reported address, Grants Pass. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for first-degree charges of rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. Barr is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $1 million bail.

Burglary — Jason John Bigelow Jr., 36, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Friday for second-degree burglary and multiple misdemeanors. Bigelow was released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Andy Curtis Posey, 32, of the 6900 block of Owl Drive SE, Salem. He was arrested by Medford Police Friday for failing to appear for fourth-degree assault pertaining to domestic violence and misdemeanors. Posey is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Steven Michael Stone, 48, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for failing to appear for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine. Stone was released on his own recognizance.

Fugitive warrant — Ronald Newton Strickland, 54, of Genessee Street, Medford. He was arrested by Central Point Police Friday for a fugitive warrant issued in Mississippi. Strickland is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Theft-drugs — Joey Boy Zack, 20, of the 100 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for failing to appear for these charges: five counts of first-degree theft, four counts of identity theft, two counts of unlawful possession of heroin, first-degree forgery, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and misdemeanors. Zack is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $67,500 bail.
