Felony arrests

Manslaughter — Alex James Seyer, 30, of the 3200 block of Bristow Road, Grants Pass. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for first-degree manslaughter, second-degree manslaughter, failure to perform duties of a driver to injured persons and a misdemeanor. Seyer is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $500,000 bail.

Drugs — Andrew Douglas Beebe, 30, of the 2900 block of Pennington Drive, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for failing to appear on unlawful manufacture of a Schedule I controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance, along with unlawful manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and multiple misdemeanors. Beebe is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail.

Drugs — Tyler John Chicano, 28, of the 500 block of Midway Road, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as well as failing to appear for these charges: unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanors. Chicano was released on his own recognizance.

Theft-coercion — William Jack Cox, 38, of the 7900 block of Ajax Street, White City. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, coercion, being a felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanors. Cox is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $132,500.

Weapon — Isaac Daniel Gilbert, 43, of the 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. He was arrested by Ashland Police Tuesday for unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree criminal mischief and multiple misdemeanors. Gilbert was released on his own recognizance.

Coercion — Miles Alan Nightingale, 57, of the 100 block of Edge Wood Park, Shady Cove. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for coercion. Nightingale was released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Dennis Calvin Upton, 61, of the 5000 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for aggravated first-degree theft. Upton was released on his own recognizance.
