Felony arrests

Witness tampering — Michael Shane Akers, 40, of the 2400 block of Roberts Road, Medford. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for two counts of tampering with a witness and one count of identity theft. Akers is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $450,000 bail, and much of that amount stems from earlier charges.

Burglary — Cassie Jane Cavagnaro, 33, of no reported address, Medford. She was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court for first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespassing and a misdemeanor. Cavagnaro is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $25,000 bail.

Burglary — Mariah Kayleen Forbes, 30 of the 200 block of the 200 block of Willamette Avenue, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for failing to appear on these charges: two counts of third-degree robbery as well as multiple misdemeanors. Forbes was released on her own recognizance.

Invalid license — Joshua James Fugate, 34, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Friday for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license and attempting to elude police by vehicle. Fugate is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $32,500 bail.

Assault — Sarah Christine Goeckermann, 44, of no reported address, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Friday for fourth-degree assault pertaining to domestic abuse. Goeckermann is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Robert Jason Herrle, 42, of the 3000 block of Glengrove Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies for failing to appear for these charges: one count each of unlawful possession, manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine, first-degree criminal mischief, attempting to elude police by vehicle and misdemeanors. He was released on his own recognizance.

Unauthorized vehicle use — Jacob Daniel Johnson, 24, of the 400 block of Merlee Circle, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Eagle Point Police Thursday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and misdemeanors. Johnson was released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Cassandra Ellen Simpson, 35, of the 1000 block of Olympic Avenue, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for first-degree theft and multiple misdemeanors. Simpson was released on her own recognizance.
