Man and woman arrested in Medford child porn investigation

A Medford man and a woman face felony charges in the wake of a child pornography investigation that culminated with a November raid on a Medford apartment complex.

Timothy Wray Guss, 62, and Breanna Leann King, 28, were arrested Thursday on 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, among other charges, according to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The alleged charges stem from “numerous images of child pornography” flagged by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last year that local investigators linked to an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Coker Butte Road in Medford.

The multi-agency Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team allegedly found more explicit files on devices seized during a search.

In addition to the 10 child pornography charges, King was hit with an added charge of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct accusing her of compelling or inducing a child to be recorded in a sexually explicit recording.

Guss was also arrested on five misdemeanor counts of private indecency, accusing him of exposing himself behind closed doors to someone unable to consent.

King and Guss were inmates in the Jackson County Jail as of Friday morning. King was held on $350,000 bail and Guss was being held on $125,000 bail.
