Medford police are still looking for Cristian Lamberto Barboza-Valerio, 21, the suspect in the Jan. 15 killing of his stepmother, Adriana Paulina Mendoza-Lopez, at a residence in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The department released photographs Wednesday of Barboza-Valerio and updated information about him to aid in the investigation.

He fled before authorities arrived at the Medford residence where Mendoza-Lopez, 39, was found “beyond help and pronounced deceased,” according to police.

His vehicle was found by authorities soon after the homicide near Interstate 5 at the Oregon-California border. No other vehicle is currently associated with Barboza-Valerio, police said.
