Felony arrests

Drugs — Jonathon Andrew Cordova, 35, of the 1600 block of Harvard Street, Bandon. Medford police arrested Cordova Monday on charges of delivering and possessing heroin, attempting to elude police by vehicle, and on warrant for failing to appear in court regarding other charges. He was booked into jail and held on $42,500 bail.

Weapon — Jacob Benjamin Hefner, 28, of the 10000 block of Royal Court, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Hefner Sunday on charges of felon possessing a restricted weapon, possessing cocaine and methamphetamine, driving while suspended or revoked, and on warrant for an alleged parole violation. He was booked into jail and held without bail.

DUI — Damien James Reed, 28, no address reported. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Reed Monday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Monday.

Revoked driving — Brandon Arthur Roderick, 36, of the 100 block of Elk Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Roderick Monday on one felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked into jail Monday and held on $10,000 bail.

Assault — John Stephen Ruffino, 49, of the 1500 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Ruffino Monday on charges of assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon. He was booked into jail Monday and held on $107,500 bail.

Strangulation — Cory James Stephanson, 48, no address reported. Medford police arrested Stephanson Sunday on charges of strangulation, assault in the fourth degree and contempt of court. He was booked into jail Sunday and released on his own recognizance Monday.
