Felony Arrests

Failing to report as sex offender — Jessie Samuel Arguelles, 32, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for failing to report as a sex offender and a misdemeanor. Arguelles was released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Brandon James Fernandez, 37, of the 700 block of Greenleaf Drive, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Eagle Point Police Thursday for first-degree theft, failing to appear for two counts of first-degree theft and misdemeanors. Fernandez was released on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Graham Nicholas Pederen, 35, of no reported address, Ashland. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor. Pedersen is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $270,000 bail, a total that includes unrelated charges.

Eluding — William Joseph Paris Shepard, 33, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for driving with a suspended or revoked license, as well as for failing to appear for these charges: two counts of eluding police by vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license, misdemeanors and a parole violation. Shepard is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Failing to report as sex offender — Damen Michael Stauffer, 25, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Friday for failing to report as a sex offender. Stauffer was released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mischief – Natasha Nichole Taylor, 35, of no reported address, Central Point. She was arrested for failing to appear for first-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor and parole violation. Taylor is being held without bail in Jackson County Jail.

Fugitive warrant — Jamel Gerald Vanhook, 29, of the 100 block of West Hilltop Drive, Talent. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for a fugitive warrant issued in California. Vanhook is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Parole violation — Ronnie R. Waddell, 57, of South Stage Street, Medford. He was arrested by Central Point Police Thursday for driving with a suspended or revoked license and a parole violation. Waddell is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
