Murder trial in Arizona for Medford man scheduled

Ryan Lynn Clark of Medford is scheduled to go on trial Aug. 2 for murder, accused of killing his girlfriend and leaving her body on the side of a road in Bullhead City, in Mohave County, Arizona.

Clark, 37, is accused of the premeditated first-degree murder of Megan Rae Jean Hannah, 27, of Medford. Hannah’s body was discovered by a passing motorist Jan. 2. She had been shot multiple times.

Hannah was identified as the victim by authorities there Jan. 6. Clark was arrested the same day in nearby Laughlin, Nevada, during a traffic stop, according to previous reports.

The week-long trial will be held in Mohave County Superior Court in Kingman, Arizona. Ronald Gilleo is the Kingman-area defense lawyer representing the suspect.

Clark is being held in the Mohave County Jail on $2 million bail, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

A status conference for the case is scheduled May 23, with a pre-trial conference slated for July 11.

In Arizona, someone found guilty of this type of first-degree murder charge could be sentenced to death or life imprisonment.
