Felony arrests

Not reporting as sex offender — Jarvis O. J. Gronholm, 36, of the Urban Campground, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Wednesday for failing to appear for failing to report as a sex offender. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Theft — Edward Alvin Hale, 63, of the 700 block of Lawnsdale Road, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for failing to appear on two counts of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor. Hale is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Ashley Brianne Hartman, 33, of the 2600 block of Elliott Avenue, Medford. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for unlawful possession of a marijuana item, delivery of a marijuana item, prohibited import or export of a marijuana item. Hartman is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail, for probation violations.

Animal abuse — Eduardo Madrid Jr., 30, of the 300 block of East Dutton Road, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for aggravated first-degree animal abuse. Madrid is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail.

Crimes against minors — James Wallace Pendleton, 22, of the 300 block of Joseph Street, Central Point. He was arrested by Central Point police Tuesday for luring a minor, attempting to use a child in a display of sexually explicit content and a misdemeanor. Pendleton was bailed out of the Jackson County Jail.

Forgery — Oscar Enrique Ramirez Ibarra, 31, of the 1100 block of Crown Avenue, Central Point. He was arrested by Central Point police Monday identity theft and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Ramirez-Ibarra is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail, much of which stems from earlier charges.

Identity theft — Stanley Patrick Rucker, 48, of the 100 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Wednesday for identity theft, attempted first-degree identity theft, misdemeanors and probation violations. Rucker is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail.
