Felony arrests

Theft — Jorge Cabrera, 28, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for first-degree theft. Cabrera is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Personal privacy invasion — Cameron Danial Clark, 28, of the 1000 block of Archer Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for first-degree invasion of personal privacy. Bail information was not available.

Felon possession firearm — Benjamin Steven Hensley, 43, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor as well as failing to appear for these charges: identity theft, two counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and probation violations. Bail information was unavailable.

Arson — Sergey V. Iltchenko, 32, of Regent Place, Eagle Point. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for second-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief. Iltchenko is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $160,000 bail, some of which stems from an earlier charge.

Burglary/theft — Cody Lee Kaeser, 23, of the 4900 block of Old Upton Drive, Central Point. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for two counts of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary, a misdemeanor and probation violation. Kaeser is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $120,000 bail, some of which stems from earlier charges.

Theft —Shauna J. Langford, 34, of the 4200 block of South Stage Road, Medford. She was arrested by Central Point police Thursday for first-degree theft and misdemeanors. Langford was released on her own recognizance.

Drugs/federal hold — Jessie Merkel, 29, of Redding, California. They were arrested by Central Point police Friday for one count each of unlawful possession and attempted delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. Merkel was released on their own recognizance but later placed on a federal hold and remains in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Forgery — Daniel Gene Peterson, 35, of the 1900 block of Sunrise Way, Central Point. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for two counts each of first-degree forgery and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument as well as misdemeanors. Peterson was released on his own recognizance.
