Felony arrests

Arson — John Charles Salmons, 49, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested April 16 for a probation violation, then police added Friday for first-degree arson, six counts of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment. Salmons is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Robbery — Timothy James Boyd, 35, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for second-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault, misdemeanor and a probation violation. Boyd is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $127,500 bail.

Not reporting as sex offender — Stephen Alan Branton, 70, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for failing to appear for not reporting as a sex offender, misdemeanors and multiple out-of-county warrants. Branton is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $80,500 bail.

Burglary — Tyler Zackery Gartin, 25, of the 200 block of Oak Street, Phoenix. He was arrested by Phoenix police Saturday for second-degree burglary, unlawful possession of a marijuana item, attempting to elude police by vehicle, an out-of-county warrant and multiple misdemeanors. Gartin is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $58,5000 bail.

Burglary — Stuart Asher Hamilton, 33, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for first-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Hamilton is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $17,500 bail.

Unauthorized use of vehicle — Geraldo Reyes, 33, of the 200 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. He was arrested by Medford police Saturday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors and probation violations. Reyes is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $65,000 bail.

Robbery — Stephen Shawn Schueler, 46, of the 1100 block of Beaumont Avenue, Ashland. He was arrested by Medford police Saturday for third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor. Schueler is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $10,000 bail.

Unauthorized use of vehicle — Maximilian Salvador Velasquez, 34, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Saturday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, misdemeanors and probation violations. Velasquez was released on his own recognizance.
