Felony arrests

Robbery — Mario Daniel Alcauter-Villa, 30, of the 2400 block of West McAndrews Road, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Thursday for first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault pertaining to domestic violence and misdemeanors. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $220,500 bail.

Criminal mischief — Justin Dee Chapman, 37, of the 200 block of South Buchanan Street, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Oregon State Police Thursday for first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors and a parole violation. Chapman is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Eluding — Michael Lee Coggins, 26, of the 1100 block of Olympic Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Thursday for failing to appear for attempting to elude police by vehicle and misdemeanors. Coggins was released on his own recognizance.

Invasion of personal privacy — Brad William Field, 50, of the 800 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. He was arrested by Central Point police for first-degree invasion of personal privacy. Field is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.

Identity theft — Jason Paul Gibbs, 35, of no reported physical address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Wednesday for identity theft, misdemeanors and probation violations. Gibbs was released on his own recognizance.

Eluding — Ryan James Lane, 36, of the 2000 block of Sunset Drive, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Thursday for attempting to elude police by vehicle and misdemeanors. Lane was released on his own recognizance.

Theft/drugs — Daniel Silva Ledezma, 33, of the 400 block of Hayes Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for failing to appear for these charges: first-degree aggravated theft, second-degree burglary, four counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, three counts of delivery of methamphetamine, two counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, two counts of unlawful possession of cocaine, one count of unlawful possession of heroin and misdemeanors. Silva Ledezma is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $110,000 bail.

Theft — Johnny Ray Valentine, 49, of the 6400 block of Kalmia Street, Sweet Home. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for five counts of first-degree theft and misdemeanors. Valentine is serving a sentence in the Oregon Department of Corrections for a separate offense that occurred in Josephine County.
