Felony arrests

Drugs — Jose Antonio Garcia, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Garcia Sunday on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor charges of second-degree child neglect and second-degree criminal mistreatment and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Casey Robert Riley, 48, of the 100 block of Maple Street, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Riley Monday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Robbery — Thomas Lee Call, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Call Tuesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree robbery and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday.

Fraud — Daniel Vincent Jones, 45, of the 4900 block of Old Upton Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Jones Tuesday on felony charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and identity theft, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Elizabeth Rae Moffitt, 28, of the 3300 block of Britt Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Moffitt Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. She was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Rape — Cruz Anthony Rangel, 31, of the 700 block of East California Street, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rangel Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Wednesday on $500,000 bail.

Robbery — Christopher Michael Tyscka, 42, of the 1600 block of Southwest K Street, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyscka Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with second- and third-degree robbery and first-degree theft and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine delivery conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.
