Felony arrests

Burglary — Ila Ann Ashker, 49, of the 3000 block of Falcon City Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Ashker Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, theft and criminal mischief, as well as first- and second-degree criminal trespass. Ashker was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Robbery — Jason Lee Cheatham, 33, a Redmond transient. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Cheatham Friday on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree kidnapping, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment. Cheatham was held in jail without bail.

Failure to report — Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 39, an Ashland transient. Central Point police arrested Frigaard Thursday on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender and Friday for second-degree criminal trespass. Frigaard was held in jail without bail.

Burglary — Christopher Lee Law, 65, of the 1600 block of Peachey Road, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Law Friday on charges of second-degree burglary, identity theft, third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was not listed in the jail log Saturday.

Burglary — Brady Eileen Morehouse, 47, of the 14000 block of Antioch Road, White City. Medford police arrested Morehouse Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, theft and criminal trespass. Morehouse was held in jail without bail.

Sexual abuse — Tyler Allen Potter, 30, of the 300 block of Ivy Street, Medford. City police arrested Potter Thursday on charges of first- and third-degree sexual abuse, harassment with sexual contact and misdemeanor harassment. Potter was released from jail on bail.

Burglary — Arien Unique Sanders-Villa, 39, of the 600 block of East Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sanders-Villa Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree theft. Sanders-Villa was held in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — David Flynn Saunders, 35, of the 1600 block of West Stewart Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Saunders Friday on a felony charge of strangulation, domestic abuse and a misdemeanor strangulation charge. Saunders was held in jail on $5,000 bail, but was not charged for the misdemeanor count.

Weapons Daniel Cruz Vargara, 30, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford Police arrested Vargara Thursday on charges of unlawful use of a deadly weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. Vargara was not listed in jail Saturday and court information says charges were not filed on both counts.

Vehicle theft — James Justin Wearden, 48, of no known address. Oregon State Police arrested Wearden Thursday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and menacing. Wearden was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.
