Sex offender — Stephen Alan Branton, 71, no known address. Medford police arrested Branton Monday on a charge of failing to report as a sex offender, a count of being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on a warrant for violating his probation on a prior conviction for failing to report as a sex offender. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Ryan Lyle Hall, 41, of the 100 block of First Street, Prospect. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hall Tuesday on warrants charging him with delivering heroin and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing and possessing heroin and delivering meth and heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, hit-and-run causing property damage and reckless driving. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.
Vehicle theft — Jordan Christopher Jones, 26, of the 4900 block of Dark Hollow Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Jones Tuesday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.
Suspended driving — Sean Kristopher Moody, 33, of the 700 block of King Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Moody Tuesday on a warrant charging him with felony driving while suspended or revoked and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of driving while suspended or revoked, attempting to elude police by vehicle and reckless driving charges, as well as violating his probation on a prior attempt to elude in a vehicle, driving while suspended or revoked and driving under the influence of intoxicants convictions. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.
