Criminal mischief — James Michael Jones, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Jones Friday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.
Impaired driving — Preston Vernon Whaley, 31, of the 200 block of Hamilton Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Whaley Saturday on charges of felony driving under the influence of intoxicants, felony driving while suspended or revoked and resisting arrest. He was held in jail Monday.
Suspended driving — Marianne Holman, 38, of the 700 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Holman Saturday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. Holman was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Strangulation — Gary Newcomb Richardson, 40, of the 3000 block of Avenue A, White City. Eagle Point police arrested Richardson Sunday on charges of felony strangulation, first-degree burglary, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, first-degree trespassing, third-degree criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person, menacing and contempt of court violating a no contact order. Richardson was held in jail Monday.
Identity theft — Jordan Scott Ruby, no known address. Medford police arrested Ruby Sunday on charges of identity theft, second-degree trespassing and providing false information to police. Ruby was booked in jail and released Sunday on her own recognizance.
Hit and run — Jesus Andres Torres, 28, of the 200 block of Stillpond Street, Medford. Medford Police arrested Torres Sunday on charges of felony hit and run to an injured person, third-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, attempting to elude police by vehicle and foot and misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in jail Monday.
