The Ashland Kiwanis Club has announced seven scholarship awards to senior Ashland High School students as part of its annual Scholarships and Awards Program. The event was held at the AHS Mountain Avenue Theatre on May 24.

Tommy Laird Kiwanis Scholarships (Student of the Month) awards of $1,000 each were awarded to Dylan Kistler and Lilianne Smith.

Ashland Kiwanis Club Athletic Scholarships, also $1,000 each were awarded to John Corder and Ginny Cotton. The four contributors to the athletic scholarships are Avista Utilities, Ashland Home Net, Gateway Real Estate, and State Farm Insurance (Jon Snowdon, agent).

A $1,000 Key Club Scholarship was awarded to Maya Davis. One $1,000 Kiwanis Youth Foundation of Southern Oregon Scholarship was awarded to Mardochee Graham, and $750 scholarships were awarded to Aanisah Clark and to Garrick Koset.

The Kiwanis awards were presented by members Chad Smith, Don Paul, Sarah Jones, and Russ Chadick.

Ashland Kiwanis thanked each graduating student for their hard work and dedication throughout their high school years.
